Not been to Tenerife before so I’d often hear from people who’ve actually stayed in these apartments so I can make my mind up. They are ‘Parque Santiago III Apartments’ & ‘Colon II Apartments’. I’m travelling with my kids aged 14 &18. Would love to hear other peoples experiences of the apartments & surrounding area. Thanks. Well, I have your answer. Parque Santiago is right on the beach so a great location. Colon II is slightly more in town but still a good complex. Parque Santiago as others have mentioned is situated in a great area which has been built over the last five years or so. Don’t worry, there’s no building work going on now. A lot of designer shops and nice bars and restaurants. The complex itself is beside a small shopping mall. The shops aren’t great mind you, lots of Indian shops selling electrical items (cameras, video players, phones etc), a restaurant and supermarket and any perfume shops. Out of the two Parque Santiago would be the better option I think. It’s also not on the doorstep of Veronicas, it’s probably about a 15 minute walk to Veronicas. It’s also close to Los Cristianos, again about a 15 minute walk. The apartments themselves are nicely furnished with everything you’d need for a comfortable holiday. Plenty for the children to do at the nearby beaches and in the complex itself. Tenerife Forum has some good information about the island too so have a look there also.
